Fort Adams State Park see map
The festival features three full days of jazz, from July 31 - August 2 at Fort Adams State Park. One of the Park System's national treasures, the Fort is situated at the mouth of Newport Harbor and has panoramic views of the Newport Bridge and the East Passage. The venue has three different stages with a mixture of both general admission areas and reserved areas. All Fort Adams tickets provide access to all three stages. In between sets, in addition to enjoying the breathtaking views and ocean breeze, you can also enjoy the unique food and crafts areas throughout the festival site, or relax in one of the Louis Jadot Wine Cafés where wine, beer and food is served.
General admission seating at the Fort Stage is first-come first-served on a large uncovered lawn. Patrons may bring blankets and low-backed beach chairs (under 30"). At the smaller stages, there is a combination of folding chairs, open seating and standing room.
There is a Reserved Seating section at the Fort Stage which is located approximately 100' from the stage, directly behind the first area of general admission seating. The section is easy to access from the road and a chair is provided. The premium seats are in the center of the section. The regular reserved seats are house right of premium. Please note there are fewer seats now than there have been in past years, so buy early for the best selection!
